MENAFN) A Ukrainian kamikaze drone struck an apartment building in the Russian city of Kursk early Tuesday, killing one person and injuring at least nine others, according to reports from the Telegram-based Mash news channel.
The drone attack, described as “massive,” damaged five residential buildings. Footage from the scene showed a gaping hole in the facade of one building, with several rooms destroyed by the blast.
Residents reported hearing up to 40 explosions during the assault.
