Et celui-ci est port\u00e9 par Philipp Ansell de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de l\u2019Illinois. Comme il l\u2019explique lui-m\u00eame, ce n\u2019est pas tant l\u2019hybridation en elle-m\u00eame qui est r\u00e9compens\u00e9e, mais la fa\u00e7on dont elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9labor\u00e9e.\n\nIl s\u2019agit en effet d\u2019une hybridation par traitement de l\u2019air. La pile \u00e0 combustible est utilis\u00e9e ici pour alimenter un compresseur \u00e9lectrique qui fournit l\u2019alimentation en oxyg\u00e8ne \u00e0 la cathode de la pile, ainsi qu\u2019au br\u00fbleur de la turbine \u00e0 gaz. L\u2019architecture a pour int\u00e9r\u00eat d\u2019\u00e9liminer ainsi le besoin d\u2019un compresseur central dans le moteur thermique.
