Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 des capteurs embarqu\u00e9s [acc\u00e9l\u00e9rom\u00e8tres et gyroscopes], elle mesure les mouvements du navire sur lequel elle est install\u00e9e pour calculer en continu sa position, sa vitesse et son cap.
