As vehicles transition from mechanical machines to \u201ccomputers on wheels,\u201d the thermal management of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) has moved from a secondary concern to a critical path for reliability.\n\nFor decades, automotive electronics were relatively simple. An Electronic Control Unit (ECU) would dissipate a few watts of heat, housed in a metal box with ample airflow around it. Today, however, the landscape has shifted.
