\n\nOn April 1, 2026, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) issued a\u00a0<\/span>Public Notice<\/span><\/a>\u00a0seeking\u00a0comment on how the agency can\u00a0foster\u00a0the development and use of domestic drone technologies\u00a0(also known as unmanned aircraft systems).\u00a0Entitled \u201cUnleashing American Drone Dominance\u201d, the Public Notice\u00a0and accompanying\u00a0<\/span>news release<\/span><\/a>\u00a0furthers\u00a0President Trump\u2019s\u00a0<\/span>executive<\/span><\/a>\u00a0<\/span>orders<\/span><\/a>\u00a0that\u00a0directed federal agencies\u00a0like\u00a0the FCC\u00a0to\u00a0take action\u00a0to\u00a0secure\u00a0the\u00a0domestic drone supply\u00a0chain while expanding the export of U.S.-made drones.
