This contract vehicle supports the Army’s Blue unmanned aerial system (UAS) Select program, designed to streamline procurement of advanced uncrewed aircraft systems and promote domestic production and modernization efforts.
The contract vehicle enables Army units to place future orders without renegotiating basic terms and conditions.
The hydrogen-powered Z1 system, according to Heven AeroTech, offers longer flight endurance and reduced reliance on traditional fuel and battery supply chains.
